Looking for a 35mm f 1.4 lens. The Rokinon 35mm is a beautiful lens for a HDSLR filmmaker on a budget. This is a great manual focus lens for shooting video on your hdslr camera, especially if you are needing a lens that works well in low light.
There are a lot of 35mm lenses out there to choose from, like the Zeiss 35mm f1.4. Which I would put at the top of the list, but priced at $1900. At that price it's out of range for a large percentage of filmmakers. The Rokinon 35mm comes in at only $499.
